Morocco Noor Phase II CSP Project wins the award of National High Quality Engineer-gold and “China International Sustainable Infrastructure Award”
Recently, SEPCOIII Morocco Noor Phase II 200MW CSP Project, after fierce competition through manyelectric power projects, success in high honors passed the pre-qualification, combined evaluation, combined president procedures, finally wins the award of National High Quality Engineer-gold. It becomes the first CSP project that wins this award in domestic and overseas, and it is also the only overseas projectthat wins this award in 2019 year.
On December 4, the 2019 annual meeting of the China Foreign Contracting Chamber of Commerce was held in Changsha. Morocco Noor II 200MW CSP Project won the 2019“China International Sustainable Infrastructure Award”, ranking first in the power construction industry. The selection of China International sustainable infrastructure projects was conducted by the China Overseas Contracting Chamberof Commerce in cooperation with China Development Bank, Exim Bank of China andother financial institutions. Dagong International Credit Rating Group, a professional organization, was hired to conduct a comprehensive assessment ofthe project’s economic sustainability, social sustainability, environmental sustainability and sustainable governance norms. Noor II project pass the rigorous technical examination of professional institutions and the assessmentof many industry experts, and finally won the honor, showing the strong strength of the company, further enhance the company’s overseas project operation of the brand influence.
Morocco Noor PhaseII CSP Project is the world’s largest parabolic trough CSP power plant withsingle capacity of 200MW which has 650,000 reflectors, add up to 1800,000 ㎡ in total, and 270,000 m solar collector tubes to concentrate solar in favor of generation. The project could produce 0.5 billion KWh green and clean power for Morocco grid.
