Recently, the EPC contract of Alba Power Project was successfully signed between ALBA and SEPCOIII in Bahrain.

Alba Power Project is an EPC project solicited by the Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C (ALBA) in order to supplement the power gap of expansion production line of electrolytic aluminum. The configuration of the project is 1set of 1-1, using the MPW M701JAC Gas Turbine, with a total net output of 680MW. The total construction period of 29.5 months from NTP, and is scheduled to enter commercial operation in September 2024. In the process of projectdevelopment, all departments of the company cooperated and integrated resourcesactively, demonstrated SEPCOIII’s rich experience and strength in contract implementation of international power plant project construction, which was highly recognized by the Employer.  

The project, as SEPCOIII’s second project in the Bahrain, not only marks the further penetration in Bahrain market, also highlighted the corecompetitiveness of SEPCOIII in the field of traditional power stations construction, strengthened the international power plant EPC forefront.
